Hello Everyone!

Dry January is nearly behind us (Huzzah!) and we have not so dry February to look forward to. The pocket ‘score cards’ of the Diary of Events are now printed and are available for collection from the AC. Be sure to come in and collect yours!

Monday 5 Council  This is at 12.00 Noon with lunch at 13.00. Please advise Alan Markham of your attendance (or otherwise!) and if you are staying for lunch please let Sam and the girls know.

Friday 9-Speaker’s Lunch   Jonny Cunningham (with or without ukulele!) will be letting us into the secrets of the ‘Carry On’ Films. Not to be missed! Numbers are limited so please let Sam and the girls know if you are attending. The list is up in the AC.

Wednesday 14-Informal Ladies’ Lunch  This is the second of our monthly informal Ladies’ lunches. The list is up in the AC so please either put your name(s) down when in the club or let Sam and the girls know. 12.30 for 1.00 o’clock.

Friday 16-Annual Valentine’s Ladies’ Evening  Bring your Valentine along for our annual celebration! This is a Black Tie event. 7.00 for 7.30 p.m. The list is up in the AC so either put your name(s) down or ‘phone Sam and the girls.

Friday 23 Last Friday of the Month Lunch  Res ipsa loquitor! Denis and his merry men (plus all of the rest of us!) making the most of a Friday…..

Thursday 29 Arts Lunch  Sadly this is postponed.

March There are some excellent events planned for March such as the Golfers’ Lunch, Ladies’ informal lunch, the Limerick Lunch, Rugby at Waterloo RUFC and a Fine Wine Lunch. And, as ever, the last Friday of the Month Lunch. All will be revealed in due course…..
